Description
The system intihal.net is operated by a Turkish private company, Asos E?itim Bili?im Dan??manlik, and focuses on that language. According to direct information from the representatives, the system is being used by 50 Turkish universities and it has been operating approximately since 2017.
Pros & Cons
- Intihal.net system in testing documents with copied and pasted texts has found at least half of similarities only in few tests in English, Spanish, Slovak and Turkish languages.
- Downloaded summary report is in Turkish by default and shows only the percentages of similar text found, but it is possible to download file with sources found and choose another language for that, for example, Latvian also (see in screenshots).
- If system language is set English, then section „Upload Document“ some fields are not translated and both detailed and Summary report is not translated.
- There are some mistakes in translations to English, for example, in „Upload document“ page title is named as „Download document“ (see in screenshots).
